SH- Reach Out to the Light

-crawls up, clutching to the desk- Uuggghhh.
This was probably one of the most difficult pictures to color in terms of: 1- Not using a digital program to color since August or July
2-Causing my computer to crash once.
3-Causing computer to overheat and freeze on several occasions.
4-And the obvious fact that I'm amongst the living dead until Christmas break.

I tried playing around with the lighting, especially since openCanvas limits me much more compared to photoshop. That's why there's no pretty and blended type of shading, which I do miss, honestly.
I am also never coloring white hair again. Oh sure, it appears silver here, but it's supposed to be white. Yuri's hair, on the other hand, will be repeated over and over because it was the funnest thing to color in this piece.
Also, in case you haven't noticed, is that the picture is big. I'm leaving it big, since it would leave away all the pretty if I didn't. Sorry folks.

This is Yuri and Alice, the protagonist and a major character in the first two Shadow Hearts games. They are probably one of my favorite couples in terms of...everything. They are tragic, yet it's still so sweet. It also adds an extra rounded-ness to Yuri's whole story and personality. Then again, that poor guy never got a break.
